This tutorial has been created with PSP 9 and Animation.

(It contains: Tube DelicatePink by Gini, Mist of mine, sn_pinkFrost gradient, tuilediamant pattern)

Plugins

Xero - Porcelain

 

Before getting started

Open the tubes in PSP

Save the gradient in the PSP gradients directory

and the pattern in the PSP patterns directory


File>New and open a new image 600 x 500 pixels
Fill canvas with Sn PinkFrost gradient (angle 45, repeats 0, invert not checked)
Effects >Texture effects > Blinds > settings like in the image below

Effects >Border effects >Enhance more


Open Julia tube - copy - paste as new layer, place it on the left
Layers >duplicate
Image >Mirror
Layers > Arrange >Move down
Set opacity of this layer to 16

Open flower tube
Image Resize 80%
Repeat Image Resize 80%
Edit > Copy >Paste as new layer
Image >Mirror
Place flower tube in the correct position

Layers > arrange > move down and repeat Layers > arrange > move down
(this layer has to stay underneath the two Julia layers)
Use eraser tool to erase part of the flowers which cover the shoulder of the woman on the left
and the face of the woman on the right
Layers > Merge > Merge visible

Image >Canvas Size 620X520 pixels Placement >center

Layers > New Raster Layer > Layers >Arrange >Move down
Fill this layer with
Sn PinkFrost gradient

angle 45, repeats 1, invert checked


*Layer >New Raster Layer > fill with tuilediamands pattern

 angle O, scale 100
Selections > Select All
Selections > Modify >Contract > number of pixels 3 pixel
press the "del" key*

 

Selections > Select none !


Highlight the merged layer

 

Selections >Select all
Selections >Float
repeat from
* to *

Selections > select none!



Highlight Raster 2 (the first frame) **Selections >Select all > Selections >Float >
Selections > Load/Save selections > Save selection to Alpha channel**

 

Selections > Select none!


Highlight Raster 3 (second frame) and repeat from ** to **

 

Selections > select none!


Add your signature.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible
Effects > Plugins > Xero > Porcelain

with following settings

Now you can save your work as .jpg file
for a non-sparkling result:

If you prefer the sparkling effect:
Highlight "merged" layer >Layers > Duplicate

Rename the layers 1 – 2 – 3
Highlight Layer "1" > Selections>Load/Save selection > Load selection from Alpha channel

and load Selection #1
***Adjust > add/remove noise > Add noise > Random >monochrome > noise: 10%

Highlight Layer "2"

Adjust > add/remove noise > Add noise > Random >monochrome > noise: 15%
Highlight Layer "3"

Adjust > add/remove noise > Add noise > Random >monochrome > noise: 20%

Selections > Select none***

Highlight Layer "1"

Selections > Load/save selection > Load selection from Alpha channel

>Load Selection #2 >
repeat from *** to ****

Highlight Layer "1" and select part of the necklace which you want to be sparkling

using point-to-point selection, then repeat from *** to ***

Highlight Layer "1", select the white part of the eyes

Adjust > add/remove noise > Add noise > Uniform > Monochrome > noise: 10%
Highlight Layer "2"

Adjust > add/remove noise > Add noise > Uniform > Monochrome > noise: 20%
Highlight Layer "3"

Adjust > add/remove noise > Add noise > Uniform > Monochrome > noise: 15%

Save as .psp (Animation Shop)
Open the file with Animation Shop and save as .gif
