This tutorial has been created with PSP 10 and AnimationShop.

 

Material: HERE

(it contains: misted image DaisyWeb_Seabreeze02 of DaisyWeb, tube jcw_the_hymnal Rosanne Pomerleau,
pattern Serenity, Patriciabling306 and font Trapper John)

Plugins: dsb flux > linear transmission & Xero Porcelain

 

File > New image > 550 x 500 pixels

Foreground color #bda5b2 - Background color #cbcbd0

Set gradient > angle:45 / repeats: 1 / invert checked

Flood fill canvas.

Effects > Plugins > Dsb flux > linear transmission

 

Effects > Edge effects > enhance

Open misted image SeaBreeze of DaysiWeb, copy and paste as new layer on working image

Image resize 110%

Move in the correct position

Woman tube
copy and paste as new layer on working image
Image resize 80%
Move in the correct position
Layers > Merge > Merge down

 

Drop shadow

Color #400040

 

Layers > Merge > Merge visible

Effects > Plugins > Xero Porcelain

 

Image > Canvas size > 564 x 514 > central

 

Layers > new raster layer
Selections > select all
Flood fill with Serenity pattern
Angle 0 scale 100
Selections >Modify >Contract >3 pixels
Press the "delete" key

Do not deselect!

Layers > new raster layer
Flood fill with color #400040
Selections >Modify >Contract >1 pixel
Press the "delete" key

Layers > new raster layer
Selections > select all
Flood fill with Serenity pattern
Angle 0 scale 100
Selections >Modify >Contract >3 pixels
Press the "delete" key
Selections > select none

Hide layers "Merged" and "Raster 3" by clicking on the eye
as shown below.
Select Raster 1 layer

Layers – Merge – Merge visible

 

Select this newly merged layer
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen
Selections > Select all > Selections > Float > Load/save selection >
Save selection to Alpha channel

Selections > select none

Layers > Merge > Merge visible

Set font tool as shown below:

 

Deselect foreground color
and write “Serenity”with color #400040
Move in the correct position and convert to Raster layer.

Deselect background color
Set the pattern as foreground color
and write "Serenity" again

Move it over the other writing

 

Layers > Convert to raster layer
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen
Selections > Select all > Selections > Float >Load/save selection >
Save selection to Alpha channel
Selections > Select none!

Layers > Merge > Merge visible
Add your watermark

Layers > Duplicate twice to obtain three layers
Select first layer
Selections >Load/save selection > Load selection from Alpha channel >
Load selection #1

Adjust > Add/remove noise >Add noise >
random, noise 10%, monochrome

Click on second layer
Adjust > Add/remove noise >Add noise >
random, noise 15%, monochrome

Click on third layer
Adjust > Add/remove noise >Add noise >
random, noise 20%, monochrome

Selections > select none!

 

Click on first layer
Selections >Load/save selection > Load selection from Alpha channel >
Load selection #2

Adjust > Add/remove noise >Add noise >
random, noise 10%, monochrome

Click on second layer
Adjust > Add/remove noise >Add noise >
random, noise 15%, monochrome

Click on third layer
Adjust > Add/remove noise >Add noise >
random, noise 20%, monochrome

Save your creation as .psp (AnimationShop)

Open the butterfly "PatriciaBling"
Image > Resize > 50% all layers checked
Repeat Image > Resize > 50% all layers checked


On each layer:
Adjust >Sharpness > Sharpen

Salva con nome in formato psp (Animation Shop)

Open AnimationShop, open your creation
and open the resized butterfly

Click on the butterfly
Edit >Select all
Edit >Copy

Click on working image
Edit >Select all
Edit > Paste into selected frame
Move the butterfly in the correct position

Repeat until you have all three butterflies
(or the quantity you prefer)
in the position you like

File > Save as > save as .gif
